According to reports by 5 Eyewitness news, there has been multiple shootings in Lewiston, Maine on Wednesday night which has resulted in at least 16 fatalities, as reported by several law enforcement sources.
The incident has left approximately 50 to 60 individuals injured, though it remains uncertain how many were injured by gunfire.
The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the suspected shooter is still at large, and they issued a message on their Facebook page urging local businesses to either lock down or close as the investigation into the situation continues.
