In a humanitarian effort, Saudi Arabia has pledged $13 million in aid for the residents of Gaza.
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) announced this generous donation on Thursday.
Notably, the money is a personal contribution from Saudi King Salman and Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman.
Established in 2015, KSRelief collaborates with various United Nations organizations and extends its aid to recipients in nearly 100 countries.
The aid comes at a critical time, as the conflict between Israel and Hamas has prompted the United Nations Emergency Relief Office (OCHA) to issue an urgent appeal for $300 million in financial assistance.
