In a tragic turn of events, Hon. Muhammed Danasabe Muhammed, Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Council, breathed his last in the early hours of Friday at Shifa Hospital in Lokoja.
The Chairman, who had been actively involved in political activities leading up to the governorship election, collapsed at home and was swiftly transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced clinically dead around 4:30 am.
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lokoja, Talba Lakwaja, officially confirmed the heartbreaking incident, extending condolences to the family of the late LGA Boss.
The statement announced that the burial is scheduled for 2 pm at Anguwan Kura burial ground, following Jumma’at prayer.
The procession will commence from his family residence at cantonment to Lokoja Central Mosque at 1:30 pm.
Hon. Muhammed, who hailed from ward B in the cantonment area of Lokoja, will find his final resting place at the Unguwan Kura Muslim cemetery.
As supporters and well-wishers gathered at his family house in cantonment to express their condolences, the late Chairman leaves behind his mother, wife, and children.
