President Bola Tinubu is slated to participate in the 50th Independence Anniversary and Armed Forces Day celebrations in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau, on Thursday.
According to a statement from his media aide, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu will be in attendance at the event hosted by President Umaro Sissoco Embalo.
Despite Guinea-Bissau marking its Independence Anniversary on September 24, 2023, official celebrations are scheduled for November 16, 2023.
Following the ceremony, Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria on Thursday, concluding his international engagements, including the Saudi-Africa summit aimed at attracting investors to Nigeria.
