The Kaduna State Police Command apprehended 20-year-old David Felix from Madakiya village, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area.
David confessed to killing his father, stating that his father appeared in his dreams as a mysterious bird with a human face, posing a threat.
The incident occurred on September 30, 2023.
During police interrogation, David expressed regret for his actions, admitting to using a pestle to attack his father while he slept.
Formal charges will be filed pending the completion of the investigation, according to ASP Mansir Hassan, the Command’s PPRO.
