A total of 135 officials in the Federal Civil Service, including directors, deputy directors, and assistant directors, have undergone redeployment to various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
The redeployment, outlined in a memo dated November 30, 2023, with reference “HCSD/CMO/EM/CPA/908/III/154,” was issued by the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation.
The memo, signed by Marcus Ogunbiyi, the Permanent Secretary of the Career Management Office, was addressed to key figures such as the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume.
The directive emphasizes the necessity for all officers to be accepted by their respective ministries, with a deadline for completion of handover and taking-over processes set for Thursday, December 7, 2023.
Non-compliance is warned to face sanctions in accordance with Public Service Rules.
Directors of Human Resources Management and Administration are instructed to report compliance details by Monday, December 11, 2023.
