Actor Jamie Foxx has finally spoken out about the undisclosed medical emergency he faced earlier this year.
Making his first public appearance since being hospitalized in April, Foxx attended the Critics’ Choice Association’s Celebration of Cinema & Television in Los Angeles, where he received the Vanguard Award for his role in “The Burial.”
During his acceptance speech, he hinted at the severity of his ordeal, stating, “I’ve been through some things” and expressing gratitude for every minute.
Although he didn’t divulge specific details about his illness, Foxx revealed he couldn’t walk six months ago due to his condition.
His daughter initially shared news of his medical complication in April, assuring the public of his recovery.
Foxx later addressed the situation on Instagram in July, explaining his reluctance to share updates during the challenging period.
Recent sources suggest he is still facing challenges, exemplified by his withdrawal from hosting the Fox game show “We Are Family” last month.
Friends express concerns about his undisclosed struggle and private recovery.
