Health officials attribute the complications to bacterial infections and pneumonia, with one patient now in the Intensive Care Unit.
The county’s Health CEC, Michael Kibiwot, denounced the circumcisions and urged parents to opt for hospital procedures instead.
Director of Health Services, Dr. Issac Kipyegon, criticized residents for neglecting health measures during the initiation, emphasizing the importance of prompt referrals and proper care.
