Renowned clergyman Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), recently shared his wish for a peaceful passing during Day 3 of the RCCG Holy Ghost Congress in Ogun state.
Reflecting on his late uncle’s serene departure, Pastor Adeboye expressed a desire to follow a similar path without illness or discomfort.
He recounted the incident where his uncle peacefully passed away in the toilet after returning from church and enjoying a light lunch, emphasizing his aspiration for a stress-free transition, stating, “If the Lord tarries His Coming, I will go on a Sunday after a good meal of pounded yam.”
