The vessel, carrying 88 people, faced high seas, causing it to overflow, and 61, including children, are missing and presumed dead.

The majority of casualties in this incident were from Nigeria, the Gambia, and other African nations, with 25 survivors receiving medical attention in a Libyan prison facility.
An IOM representative expressed concern about insufficient efforts to save lives at sea.
Earlier in June, a fishing boat sank off southern Greece, resulting in 78 fatalities.
The UN refugee agency reports over 153,000 migrants have entered Italy from Tunisia and Libya this year.
