President Joe Biden faced a tense moment on Sunday when a car collided with his Secret Service motorcade in Delaware, near the campaign headquarters for the 2024 Presidential Elections.
After the incident, security quickly relocated the President to safety, and he was subsequently taken to Wilmington.
A White House official confirmed that both the President and the First Lady emerged unharmed.
The Secret Service clarified that the collision, which involved a vehicle in the motorcade route, did not compromise the President’s safety.
Subsequent to the event, reporters gathered outside the campaign headquarters, and authorities apprehended the sedan’s driver involved in the collision.
President Biden successfully reached his family’s residence without further complications.
