The Iranian military released an animated video portraying the assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu amid heightened tensions following the death of Iranian military official Sayyed Razi Mousavi.
Mousavi, a senior adviser for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Syria, was reportedly killed in an airstrike near Damascus.
Israel has conducted military strikes in Syria, and the IRGC blames Israel for Mousavi’s death.
The IRGC issued warnings, including a video depicting the hypothetical assassination of Netanyahu. Israel’s response has been reserved, with the IDF declining to comment.
The situation has escalated, with Iran vowing that Israel will “pay for this crime.”
