Ghali Umar Na’Abba, a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, passed away early Wednesday in Abuja.
According to a family source, he died in an Abuja hospital after a short illness.
Born on September 27, 1958, Na’Abba served as the Speaker from 1999 to 2003, succeeding Salisu Buhari. He graduated in political science from ABU Zaria in 1979.
