The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) clarified that foreigners arriving from visa-required countries must continue applying for visas despite President William Ruto’s recent announcement of Kenya becoming visa-free from January 2024.
President Ruto, during the 60th Jamhuri Day celebrations, expressed his government’s commitment to abolishing visa requirements and mentioned the development of a digital platform for advanced traveler identification.
