North Korean leader Kim Jong Un conveyed messages of sympathy to the leaders of Iran and Japan through state media.
He expressed condolences to Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida regarding the recent earthquake and extended sympathy to Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi after the deadly bombings claimed by the Islamic State.
Additionally, Kim reaffirmed North Korea’s stance against terrorism.
Meanwhile, North Korea’s recent artillery firings near the disputed maritime border with South Korea led to corresponding live fire drills by the South.
