During a flight from Portland, Oregon, to Ontario, California, an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-9 Max experienced a serious incident when a window and part of the fuselage blew out mid-flight, leading to an emergency landing.
A photo from inside the plane revealed a missing cabin panel and deployed oxygen masks.
The plane, carrying 174 passengers, safely landed back at Portland International Airport.
Alaska Airlines subsequently grounded their Boeing 737 fleet in response to the incident.
