The 22-year-old is a Second Lieutenant in the Air Force, holding the title of Miss Colorado since May 2023, making her the first active-duty Air Force officer to achieve this, as stated on the Miss Colorado website.
A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, she earned a degree in physics with a focus on astronomy and is currently pursuing a Master’s in public policy at the Harvard Kennedy School.
She decided to enter pageants during her time at the Air Force Academy, citing parallels between military service and representing her community with the crown and sash.
Additionally, Marsh is the co-founder of the Whitney Marsh Foundation, established in honor of her mother, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2018.
The foundation has raised over a quarter of a million dollars to date.
The 2024 Miss America winner is set to receive $60,000 in tuition scholarships and serve as the brand ambassador for Miss America.
