Last week, President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. announced the formation of a Presidential Delegation to attend the Inauguration of His Excellency Joseph Boakai on January 22, 2024, in Monrovia.
The delegation, led by Honorable Linda Thomas-Greenfield, Representative of the United States of America to the United Nations, includes members such as Ms. Catherine Rodriguez, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., U.S. Embassy Monrovia, Honorable Stephen K. Benjamin, Assistant to the President and Senior Advisor, Honorable Isobel Coleman, Deputy Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development, and Honorable Judd Devermont, Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for African Affairs.
Several African and world leaders, including the Presidents of Ghana and Sierra Leone, are also present in Liberia for the event.
