The Health, Finance, and Policy Committee of the Minnesota House has endorsed a proposal to legalize physician-assisted suicide.
This legislation would permit terminally ill adults to grant physicians the authority to provide medication to aid in their passing.
The next step is the consideration of the bill by the Public Safety, Finance, and Policy Committee.
However, the road to full approval in the legislature remains extensive.
