King Charles III has been hospitalized in London for a corrective procedure related to an enlarged prostate, as stated in an official Buckingham Palace announcement.
The monarch’s condition is benign, and his public engagements will be temporarily postponed for recuperation.
Interestingly, his hospitalization coincides with his daughter-in-law Kate Middleton’s stay at the London Clinic, where she is recovering from abdominal surgery.
King Charles paid a visit to Princess Kate before undergoing his own surgery.
The palace reported Kate’s surgery as successful, and she is expected to remain in the hospital for ten to fourteen days before continuing her recovery at home.
It’s anticipated that she will not resume public duties until after Easter, as per current medical advice, and privacy for the Princess has been requested.
