Troy Beckwith, known for his role as Michael Martin (aka Sicko Micko) on Neighbours, has passed away at 48 after a challenging battle with cancer.
Kym Valentine, his former co-star, confirmed the sad news on social media, expressing her grief and sharing a message from Beckwith’s family clarifying the cause of death.
Beckwith, a talented actor, gained fame for his portrayal of Michael Martin, one of Neighbours’ iconic villains in the ’90s.
The official Neighbours Instagram account and Executive Producer Jason Herbison paid tribute to Beckwith’s contribution to the show, while his sister fondly remembered him for his mischievous laugh.
There will be no funeral, respecting Beckwith’s wishes.
