Adidas has decided to change its approach to the Yeezy brand’s inventory in 2024, opting to sell unsold items “at least” at cost rather than writing them off.
Following its split with Kanye West (Ye) in October 2022, Adidas faced challenges, losing approximately $441 million in sales between then and May 2023.
Despite the discontinuation of the Yeezy business, Adidas generated around €750 million in revenue in 2023, with plans to achieve single-digit sales growth in 2024.
The company expects the Yeezy inventory sell-off to have no impact on its operating profit for the year.
