A passenger on a Lufthansa flight from Thailand to Germany died on Thursday, with fellow travelers witnessing blood gushing from his mouth and nose.
The 63-year-old German man, visibly sick upon boarding, received limited assistance despite pleas from a nursing specialist on board. Flight attendants attempted CPR for about half an hour, but the man passed away mid-flight.
The plane returned to Thailand, where passengers experienced a two-hour wait before being rebooked.
Despite immediate aid, the airline confirmed the passenger’s death and expressed condolences.
A regretful witness noted the challenging situation, questioning the decision to take off given the passenger’s condition.
