Kenyan science educator, Rose Tata Wekesa, has gained attention for her endeavor to surpass the world record for the longest continuous science lesson.
Cheers erupted at St. Austin’s Academy in Nairobi when the clock reached 50 hours, but Ms. Wekesa decided to extend the lesson further.
The achievement is pending verification by Guinness World Records.
Wekesa, specializing in biology and chemistry, cited her motivation to showcase the captivating and attainable aspects of science.
Her goal is to inspire young students, emphasizing that teachers can accomplish remarkable feats beyond traditional classroom activities.
The ongoing attempt is being livestreamed from the Multimedia University in Kenya, where Wekesa has garnered support and recognition for her extraordinary initiative.
