Former President Donald Trump launched his own line of tennis shoes at Sneaker Con in Philadelphia, featuring three pairs ranging from $199 to $399.
Trump expressed enthusiasm, stating it’s an idea he’s had for a long time and aims to connect with younger supporters.
The line, named Trump Sneakers, includes high-tops and laceless athletic shoes, each adorned with a distinctive “T.”
The purchase includes extra laces and a Trump “superhero charm.”
The sneakers are available for preorder online, along with a Victory47 perfume and cologne at $99 each.
The venture is not affiliated with Trump’s presidential campaign or the Trump Organization, as his name and likeness have been licensed to CIC Ventures LLC.
Critics, including President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign, mocked the launch, coinciding with Trump facing a $350 million penalty for financial fraud.
This isn’t Trump’s first licensing venture; previously, he entered an agreement to sell NFT trading cards.
Sneaker Con, where the collection premiered, is a prominent event in the evolving sneaker culture, extending beyond athletes to include public figures like politicians.
