Brigadier General Yusha’u Ahmed, the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), strongly cautioned 2024 Batch A Stream 1 corps members against sharing camp activities on social media during his address at the NYSC Ogun State Permanent Orientation Camp.
Emphasizing the need for privacy, he urged corps members to refrain from posting moments from the three-week exercise and prioritize safety, discouraging unnecessary journeys.
Ahmed encouraged productivity, stressing that every hour should be utilized effectively.
He also advised participation in the NYSC Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme, highlighting opportunities for interest-free loans and grants.
State Coordinator Olayinka Nasamu commended participants for their behavior, and the DG supported them with four cows and cash gifts.
The NYSC, a mandatory year-long program for Nigerian graduates, involves a three-week orientation course.
