The Israel Defense Forces reported that it carried out an airstrike targeting a car in southern Lebanon on Monday, resulting in the death of a senior Hezbollah commander, Hassan Hussein Salami.
The strike, captured in a video, shows the car erupting in flames and crashing.
Salami, associated with Hezbollah’s Nasser unit, led attacks against Israel along the northern border.
The IDF also conducted airstrikes in the Bekaa Valley, escalating tensions with Hezbollah.
