Pope Francis, the global leader of the Catholic Church, conveyed concern about the rising cases of abductions in Nigeria through his official statement on Sunday.
He shared, “The growing frequency of kidnappings in Nigeria is highly troubling.
My prayers are with the Nigerian people, and I hope concerted efforts will be undertaken to mitigate the escalation of these incidents.”
