According to Sahara Reporters, Shyngle Wigwe, the biological father of the late billionaire business mogul and former CEO of Access Holdings, Dr. Herbert Wigwe, experienced a health scare as he slumped on Saturday.
He was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment.
Refuting rumors of his demise, influencer Tony Ogbuagu clarified the situation, urging restraint in spreading negative news.
The funeral service for Herbert Wigwe, his wife Doreen, and son Chizzy took place at the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Isiokpo, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.
They were laid to rest on March 9, 2024, following a combined funeral service at the RCCG Lion of Judah Parish in Isiokpo.
Herbert Wigwe and his family tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash near the Nevada-California border while en route to Las Vegas for Super Bowl 58.
The incident occurred in February, with reports that Wigwe had left Lagos State, Nigeria, to attend the American football competition.
The LVIII Super Bowl took place on February 11, 2024, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
