Victor Osimhen is ruled out of Nigeria’s upcoming friendly matches against Ghana and Mali.
He missed Napoli’s recent game due to an inflamed scar from a previous injury, which has not fully healed.
He will undergo further recovery for at least two weeks at Castel Volturno.
The Super Eagles will face Ghana on March 22 and Mali four days later at Grand du Stade Marrakech.
