A Federal High Court in Borno has ruled for the release of 313 individuals suspected of terrorism, citing insufficient evidence to prosecute them following a thorough investigation.
Maj. Gen. Buba Edward, Director of Defence Media Operations, disclosed this during a briefing in Abuja, stating that the court’s decision stemmed from the conclusion of the investigation and related matters.
The detainees will now be transferred to the Borno State Government for further proceedings.
