Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport officials report that two Delta Air Lines planes experienced a minor incident on Thursday morning when their wings made contact on a taxiway.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the 271 passengers aboard the two Airbus A320 planes involved.
A Delta spokesperson clarified that the collision occurred during the pushback from the gate, describing it as a “low-speed contact.”
Delta teams are currently working to assist affected passengers in reaching their final destinations, apologizing for any travel delays incurred.
An investigation into the incident is underway by Delta.
