Some of the music industry’s most prominent figures were celebrated for their impact on the industry and broader pop culture.

On April 1st, the 12th annual iHeartRadio Music Awards aired on FOX and streamed on iHeartRadio stations nationwide and the free iHeartRadio app.

The “Song of the Year” category boasted remarkable contenders like Rema and Selena Gomez’s “Calm Down” and Metro Boomin’s “Creepin’” featuring The Weeknd and 21 Savage.

However, it was SZA who emerged as a standout, clinching multiple awards including Song of the Year and R&B Artist of the Year.

Other notable winners included Peso Pluma, Taylor Swift, and Ice Spice.

The ceremony also bestowed Beyoncé with this year’s Innovator Award, recognizing her significant contributions to pop culture.

The award, presented by Stevie Wonder, honors seasoned artists for their impact. Previous recipients include Taylor Swift and Alicia Keys.

Additionally, the Icon Award was bestowed upon legendary singer Cher, accompanied by a moving musical tribute featuring Jennifer Hudson.

Ludacris hosted the event, delivering live performances from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Artists such as Justin Timberlake, Lainey Wilson, TLC, Green Day, Jelly Roll, and Tate McRae graced the stage, many of whom were also nominated in various categories.

For those who missed the memorable moments, or wish to revisit them, the show will be available for streaming on Hulu the following day for 21 days.
