The leak apparently emerged through a Google Drive link containing the full 17-track lineup of Swift’s latest release, as per CNN. This unauthorized dissemination has circulated online over the past day.
Scheduled for release this Friday at midnight, Swift’s 11th album has garnered significant attention.
According to reports, “Taylor Swift leaks” became a restricted search term on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday.
In response to the leak, some fans, known as Swifties, opted to listen to the leaked tracks while others chose to wait for the official release.
One social media user emphasized the importance of respecting the hard work behind the album, stating, “People need to understand that this isn’t just about being a fan. It’s about respecting others’ hard work!”
During a 2014 interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, Swift expressed her efforts to prevent early leaks of her music due to security concerns.
Swift announced her new album during her Grammy acceptance speech in February, marking her first entirely new album since “Midnights” in 2022, according to the BBC.
