President Bola Tinubu is set to embark on an official visit to the Netherlands on Tuesday, April 23, following an invitation from the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte.
This visit will include participation in the Nigerian-Dutch Business and Investment Forum, bringing together key figures from both countries’ business sectors.
The agenda will focus on fostering collaboration and exploring opportunities in areas such as water management, agriculture, and sustainable farming practices.
During his visit, President Tinubu will engage in high-level discussions with Prime Minister Rutte and also meet separately with His Royal Majesty, King Willem-Alexander, and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, who serves as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development.
Additionally, discussions will center on port management operations, leveraging the Netherlands’ renowned expertise in this domain.
Following his Netherlands visit, President Tinubu will proceed to attend a special World Economic Forum meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focusing on global collaboration, growth, and energy for development.
This trip marks President Tinubu’s 18th foreign destination since assuming office, highlighting his commitment to international engagements and partnerships for Nigeria’s development.
