Boeing is once again facing scrutiny after a Boeing 737 aircraft experienced a wheel detachment shortly after takeoff, prompting the captain to perform an emergency landing. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported.
Video footage from @dailymail captured the incident, which eerily resembles a previous occurrence.
According to Belgian aviation site Aviation24, the incident involved a Boeing 737-800 operated by Safair departing from Johannesburg, South Africa, bound for Cape Town.
The crew took precautionary measures by discontinuing their climb at 22,000 feet and entering a holding pattern to burn off fuel before safely landing back at Johannesburg Airport.
