A pregnant woman has opted to cancel her gender reveal party due to her husband’s disappointment over expecting a baby girl.
In an online post, she shared that although they already have a son, her husband strongly desired their second child, and likely their last, to be another boy.
Reflecting on her husband’s fixation on not having a daughter, the woman attributed this to his upbringing, mentioning his controlling older father.
She recounted how her husband reluctantly agreed to let her learn the baby’s gender alone, only to react negatively upon discovering they were expecting a girl.
As the scheduled reveal approached and her husband grew increasingly withdrawn, she decided to call off the event.
Despite acknowledging her husband’s nonchalant attitude towards the expenses involved, he expressed frustration about the implications for their family and friends.
Consequently, she made the decision to cancel the party, even at the cost of forfeiting their photographer’s deposit.
