A 2016 surveillance video released by CNN has surfaced online. The video reveals Sean “Diddy” Combs engaging in a violent altercation with his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, now 37, in a California hotel.
Ms Ventura was seen leaving a hotel room and heading towards an elevator as Diddy, now 54, chased her down the hallway wearing only a towel.
The video depicts Combs violently grabbing her by the neck, causing her to fall, and then kicking her while she lay on the ground, before taking her purse and suitcase and dragging her on the floor back to the hotel room during the incident.
The video is not included here due to its graphic nature.

According to reports, singer Cassie has filed a civil lawsuit claiming Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs paid $50,000 to the InterContinental Hotel for security footage that captured him assaulting her in March 2016.
Following the disturbing footage, Cassie’s attorney Douglas H. Wigdor released a statement, saying, “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs.
Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”
In response to the footage, IHG Hotels, no longer under IHG management, stated, “We do not have any access to prior incident records or footage.”
Cassie’s lawsuit, filed in November and obtained by People, detailed the hotel incident, alleging that in March 2016, during a party at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, Combs became extremely intoxicated and punched Ventura, giving her a black eye.
The 35-page complaint, filed under the Adult Survivors Act, a New York law permitting sexual abuse victims to file civil suits within a one-year window after the statute of limitations has expired, also claimed, “After Combs fell asleep, Ms. Ventura tried to leave the hotel room, but as she exited, Mr. Combs awoke and began screaming at Ms. Ventura.
He followed her into the hotel hallway while yelling at her, grabbed at her, and threw glass vases at her, causing glass to shatter around them as she ran to the elevator to escape.
