America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, which operates over 900 stores, has directed its locations to remove all Sean John products from their shelves and replace them with similarly priced frames. This follows the release of a video showing the mogul assaulting Cassie at a Los Angeles hotel in March 2016.
This is not the first financial setback for Diddy, the founder of Bad Boy Records, who is currently facing several lawsuits involving sexual assault and sex trafficking.
Diddy’s finances are once again impacted as he faces multiple allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking.
Stores were instructed on Tuesday to remove all Sean John frames from display and replace them with comparable alternatives from their inventory. Sales of the frames were halted, and stores were told to await further instructions.
This is not the only company to recently cut ties with Diddy. Last week, Peloton announced the removal of his music from its workout classes in response to the lawsuits.
In March, there were reports that Diddy sold his shares in Revolt, a multimedia network he co-founded in 2013, after federal agents raided his homes.
“We take this issue very seriously and confirm that Peloton has paused using Sean Combs’ music and removed the Bad Boy Entertainment Artist Series from our platform,” read a statement obtained by People. “Our instructors will no longer use his music in newly produced classes. Thank you for sharing your concerns and being a member of our Peloton community.”
