On Wednesday afternoon, Bolivian authorities apprehended General Juan Jose Zuniga.
This occurred just hours after soldiers stormed the presidential palace during a military coup attempt.
Both Bolivia’s government and international leaders condemned the coup attempt.
Zuniga’s current destination remains unknown.
