Admiral Alison Madueke has filed a petition in the Lagos State High Court requesting the formal dissolution of his marriage to Diezani Madueke.
The petition not only seeks to end their marital union but also asks the court to prevent Diezani from continuing to use his last name. They married under the Marriage Act on June 30, 1999.
Despite a previous divorce proceeding initiated by Diezani and finalized in April 2022, Admiral Madueke claims she continues to use his name without consent, causing reputational damage.
He seeks a court order to stop her from using his first and last names permanently.
