The Plateau State Government is urging residents to visit Plateau Specialists Hospital and donate blood to aid students rescued from the collapsed school building in Jos.
Mr. Musa Ashom, the Commissioner for Information and Communication, issued the appeal in a statement in Jos on Friday evening.
They are encouraging physically fit individuals to participate in blood donation, with this message being regularly broadcast on state-owned radio and television stations.
The commissioner highlighted the urgent need for blood donations following the significant casualties from the school building collapse in the Busa Buji area of Jos North Local Government Area.
