Lionel Messi, the captain of Argentina, has set a new record in football history by achieving the highest number of titles.
He led his team to a 1-0 victory over Colombia in the 2024 Copa America final. Messi, at 37 years old, has amassed a total of 45 trophies throughout his career, surpassing his former Barcelona teammate Dani Alves’ record of 44 titles.
During his tenure at Barcelona, Messi won an impressive 35 titles. He also achieved success on the international stage, securing six trophies with Argentina, including Copa America victories in 2021 and 2024. Additionally, he won an Olympic gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Games.
Since joining PSG in 2021, Messi has added three more trophies to his collection, winning Ligue 1 in the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons, as well as the Trophee des Champions in 2022.
He also triumphed in the 2022 FIFA World Cup with Argentina and claimed the Leagues Cup 2023 title with Inter Miami.
