Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel is currently engaged in a “multi-front war” with Iran and its allies. As the U.S. and its partners prepare to support Israel against anticipated counterattacks, Netanyahu emphasized Israel’s readiness for any eventuality.

This statement comes amid escalating tensions following nearly 10 months of conflict in Gaza and the recent killings of a senior Hezbollah commander in Lebanon and Hamas’ top political leader in Iran. Iran and its allies have blamed Israel and threatened retaliation, with Hamas initiating talks to appoint a new leader.

Meanwhile, diplomatic efforts continue, with Jordan’s foreign minister visiting Iran to seek de-escalation.

The Pentagon has also moved significant assets to the region to prevent further conflict.

Inside Israel, residents have begun preparing bomb shelters, recalling Iran’s direct military assault in April, which Israel claims to have largely intercepted.

A stabbing attack near Tel Aviv resulted in the deaths of two elderly individuals and injuries to two others.

In Gaza, Israeli airstrikes killed at least 25 people, including children, with the Israeli military targeting Hamas command centers, accusing militants of using civilian areas as shields.

Additional strikes in Gaza killed 18 people, including four at a hospital and a family of three in another incident.

Palestinian militants responded by firing projectiles at Israeli communities, prompting evacuations in parts of Khan Younis.

The Gaza conflict, triggered by Hamas’ attack on October 7, has resulted in the deaths of over 39,580 Palestinians, widespread destruction, and mass displacement.

Hezbollah and Israel have continued exchanging fire along the Lebanon border, with recent strikes injuring Lebanese civilians.

The international community, including the U.S., is advising citizens to leave Lebanon following the killing of a senior Hezbollah commander.
