Serena Williams has voiced her frustration after she and her children were reportedly refused entry to a restaurant at the Peninsula Paris during the 2024 Olympics.
The 42-year-old retired tennis star, who carried the Olympic torch and attended the gymnastics finals on July 30, claimed on X (formerly Twitter) that she was barred from accessing the restaurant, which was empty at the time.
Williams expressed her disappointment, noting that she had never been turned away from a dining establishment, especially with her children. She did not specify if her husband, Alexis Ohanian, was present during the incident.
Support for Williams has emerged on social media following the incident.
