On Friday, the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) closed down a church and three other businesses in Lekki due to noise pollution.
LASEPA announced on its X handle that this action was part of its efforts to enforce environmental regulations and address noise issues.
The agency stated that the closures were a result of these establishments, including Bolivar, Red Lagos, Kingfisher, and LOGIC Church, repeatedly breaching state environmental laws despite earlier warnings.
LASEPA emphasized that this decision reflects its dedication to maintaining a peaceful, clean, and environmentally responsible community.
