The 2024 African Legends Night is set to be a memorable celebration of music and culture, featuring an impressive lineup of artists.
Headlining the event are the renowned Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Ghanaian Highlife icon George Jahraa, celebrated Adani Best, and the dynamic hiplife star Okyeame Kwame. Hosted by Global Media Alliance, this year’s event will be held on October 5 at the Grand Arena Dome, Accra International Conference Centre.

Yvonne Chaka Chaka, known as the ‘Princess of Africa,’ has enchanted audiences with her powerful voice and lyrics for over thirty years. With memorable hits like ‘Umqombothi,’ ‘Thank You Mr. DJ,’ and ‘I’m Burning Up,’ she is not only a musical icon but also a dedicated advocate for social and humanitarian causes across Africa. Her anticipated performance is expected to be a highlight of the night.
GEORGE JAHRAA
Ghanaian Highlife legend George Jahraa will also grace the stage. With a career spanning over forty years, Jahraa is celebrated for his contributions to Highlife music, a genre deeply rooted in Ghanaian culture.
