Nick Cannon recently admitted that his ex-wife, Mariah Carey, does not want to rekindle their relationship and has moved on from his behavior.
Cannon, 43, and Carey, 55, were married from 2008 to 2016 and now co-parent their 13-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan. Since their separation, Cannon has fathered 12 children with six different women.
Despite previously expressing a desire to reunite with Carey, Cannon acknowledges that she is unlikely to reconsider their relationship.
In a conversation with People, he humorously remarked that Carey has moved on from his “crazy antics.” Cannon has made light of his extensive family, suggesting it may be part of why Carey isn’t interested in reconciling.
Cannon continues to focus on his children, recently enjoying summer activities with them and preparing for the school year. He praised his son Golden Sagon, who has advanced two grades and finds school unchallenging.
Regarding his growing family, Cannon welcomed his youngest child, daughter Halo Marie, in December 2022 with Alyssa Scott. He also has children with several other women, including daughters Zeppelin and Onyx, and sons Rise Messiah and Legendary.
Despite the complex family dynamics, Cannon emphasizes that his co-parents maintain a positive relationship by prioritizing their children’s needs.
