Eater Los Angeles reports that actor Kevin Hart’s restaurant, Hart House, which opened in 2022, has closed its four locations as of September 10, 2024.
Hart House CEO Andy Hooper expressed gratitude to the team, customers, and community partners for their support in a statement, praising their role in driving the restaurant’s mission.
The locations that have closed include Westchester, Monrovia, University Park, and the flagship site at Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue.
The restaurant announced its closure on Instagram with a photo of stacked burgers and a “Thank You” message, alongside a caption expressing appreciation to the team and guests.
Hart House, which began operations on August 25, aimed to provide affordable, high-quality plant-based food free of preservatives, artificial colors, hormones, antibiotics, high-fructose corn syrup, trans fats, and cholesterol.
Hart previously stated that the restaurant was a natural extension of his flexitarian lifestyle and business goals, emphasizing the team’s commitment to offering delicious, sustainable food.
