A few days after Taylor Swift endorsed his political opponent, former President Donald Trump criticized the pop star on social media. On Sunday, he posted, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” on Truth Social without offering any further explanation.
Trump had earlier responded to Swift’s endorsement in a “Fox & Friends” interview, suggesting she might “pay a price in the marketplace” for her stance. He also mentioned he preferred Brittany Mahomes, the wife of NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes, over Swift.
Although Swift backed Joe Biden in 2020, she had not yet endorsed a candidate for the upcoming election.
However, Trump previously caused controversy by sharing AI-generated images on Truth Social depicting Swift and her fans supporting him. Swift addressed these doctored images in her endorsement, expressing concerns about the dangers of AI and misinformation.
